Excellent Pumpkin Bread

3 c. sugar

4 eggs

1 c. salad oil

1 tsp. Kitchen Klatter butter flavoring

2 c. pumpkin

3 1/2 c. flour

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 1/2 tsp. salt

3/4 tsp. nutmeg

1/2 tsp. allspice

2 tsp. baking soda

2/3 c. water

1/2 tsp. Kitchen Klatter burnt sugar flavoring

1/2 tsp. Kitchen Klatter orange flavoring

1 c. nuts

 

Cream sugar, eggs, oil and butter flavoring. Add pumpkin.

Stir dry ingredients together in separate bowl

Blend water and burnt sugar and orange flavorings and stir in alternately with dry ingredients.

Add nuts.

Bake in greased and floured pans filled 2/3 full.

Bake at 350 degrees until done (about 45 minutes in loaf pan).

Makes four 7 x 3 x 2 inch pans.

After baking, remove from pans and cool on racks.

Freezes very well.
