Greek Hummus

adapted from Rachael Ray by Lori Ann Spears

1 (15 oz) can chick peas, drained
1 lemon
1 sprig fresh oregano (or a tsp-ish dried)
1 clove garlic
1 cucumber
a variety of different colored peppers (2-3, red being the best color and when I can afford it I get the orange and yellow as well)

Add chick peas to food processor.  Juice the lemon into the food processor.  Rough chop and add oregano.  Using a mini-grater (microplane) grate garlic into food processor.  Add a pinch of salt.  Blend ingredients until smooth.  Drizzle olive oil in food processor while running until hummus reaches desired consistency (I’d guess more than a tsp and less than a Tbsp).

Slice veggies and serve.
