Beef Teriyaki

contributed by Jaime Cecil

in the crock pot:

1 layer of chopped green onions (about 3)

beef “stew” pieces (1-2 lbs)

( * It is a very… forgiving recipe and any type of steak or chicken could be used I think.*)

On top of the steak and green onions,

1/2 cup of beef broth (low sodium)

1 jar of teriyaki sauce.

( I’m sure you could use your own teriyaki sauce too…I just happened to have some in the pantry!)

cook on high for about 4 hours and then low for 2 or so….the meat was amazingly tender. Everyone ate it! I served over rice and with a side of steamed broccoli. Next time I might throw the broccoli in on top of the meat for the last hour or so. Mmm…beef and broccoli!
