Green Chili Stew

3 tbl oil ( I did not use this, didn’t seem necessary)

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 large onion, diced

1 lb. ground beef, lean

1/2 lb. ground pork

…3 cups chicken broth

2 cups water

2 4oz cans diced green chilies

4 large potatoes, diced

10 oz pkg frozen corn

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp cumin

1 tsp salt

1.) Brown onion, garlic, beef and pokt in skillet. Cook until meat is no longer pink. (I drained this)

2.) Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.

3.) Cover and cook on low 4 -6 hours or until potatoes are soft.

Serve with tortillas.
