Cheese Bread

1 c milk

¼ c butter ( ½ stick )

bring to a rolling boil and boil for at least 1-2 minutes (important)

…add 1 c flour all at once

take off heat

stir really well with spoon til it forms a ball


4 eggs

mix with electric mixer until glossy (takes a few minutes)


¾ c grated swiss cheese

¼ c asiago or parmesan or both

grease cookie sheet

place large dollops on pan in rows. They can touch each other and then you break them apart when cooled

bake at 400 for 25-30 minutes

you can add crumbled fried bacon in it if you like

I also did some sautéed onions with the bacon and I have done salami – caraway seeds are really good

And I put a little extra cheese on top before baking

It tastes best after it cooled off for about ½ hour
